Talking about loud...

My last 7 was loud and most other 7's I have seen and the like are loud. My new SE is pretty quiet. A low purr. I mean it's still kind of loud, say in the parking garage of my office, but it's just resinance. Hmmm.... I have no muffler but the stock silencers and cat. Wtf? Normal? :)

RX-7's aren't necessarily loud. The owners MAKE them loud. The key work here is that you still have your cat, and it's likely not gutted.

i wish there was a way to temporarily reduce sound levels though. i try to be a considerate neighbor, but i work irregular hours, and i gotta drive my baby.

Yeah, its normal when you still have a cat attached. The getting rid of the cat is what makes it so loud.

ajusa.com has great prices on magnaflow stuff... most of the time they are cheaper than ebay...

I was gonna gut the cat here shortly to get the chainsaw noise and backfires back that I had on my old one. :D

On my 12A with just manifold and intact cat it was still loud. 2500 rpms sounded like I was racing LOL. I only have a single cat though
