i have heard people saying how the tokico blues are pretty stiff and since i was going to buy the illumina's but cost wise i dont know bascilly i want a street car that i can open up on a track or curvie road and mess with in a parking lot..........since the illumina's are adujustable i thought that would be road to go with ST springs but what do you think???????eibah,,ST,,,racing beat???and blues or illumina's??????and what combo?????

Illumina's definately. As far springs go, Eibach are pretty stiff for street, ST's would probably be a better ride and RB's somewhere in the middle but towards the stiffer side.

I've got KYB GR-2 gas shocks and RB springs. For me they are a perfect balance of good summer daily-driving, and some autocross/spirited driving. It gives you a ride that doesn't make your spleen sore from stiffness, but it reduces overall body roll and gives the car more stability.

It's also a very cost-effective setup, which is a bonus. Eibachs were prohibitively expensive here, and it's obvious by browsing RB's site that they've done their homework on our cars, so why not?

But I won't knock the ST+Illumina combo, it sounds good too.

I personally have Tokico Blues with Eibachs installed on my daily driver/autoX car. This car is by no means uncomfortable to drive, and it sees many many dirt roads where I live. This also with 15" rims and 50 series tires, which are known to produce a stiff ride. All in all any of the springs with the exception of coil-overs will be streetable. Also From what I hear the illumina is a great shock but most people put it on the middle setting and leave it, Blues are preset at basically the middle setting for the illuminas so they are about right. I'd spend more on the springs and less on the shocks, but I'd not run the GR-2s; didn't really notice them much in another car I had. Also because RB are a non-progressive spring they may seem slightly harsher on the road than even the Eibachs, even though they are a lower rate.

im gunna end up going with ST and blues since money is not what i have....since i need a gauge, door seals,,and slave cyclender to hopefully fix my ever-lasting clutch problem

The only thing i don't like about the Illuminas is you have to take out the rear interior panels to adjust the shocks. Other than that they are fine.

I have Eibachs on the 1st gen and they are stiffer than the ST's on my 2nd gen.
