Suspension questions.
 

Im looking at new shocks, struts and springs along with wheels. I want to lower my car a bit, not slam it though. I like driving it lol. Any way, the wheels I want are Konig Rewind 15x7 20mm. im looking at some cheaper (but decent) struts, shocks and springs. Ive found these, KYB. Theyre really cheap for the entire set. Anyone have any experience with these? I was also looking at Tokico Blues, which are double the price. I havent been able to find any springs other than the RB ones.

If you're a just like driving the car, not autocrossing or track driving, the KYB is fine. It will not last as long as the Tockiko, nor is it as firm in its action. I'd spend the extra. You can find Suspension Techniques and B & G springs also. Don't forget your bushings while you've got it all apart.

I'm in the process of bringing my 81 back to life. I went with the full RB suspension kit, Energy Suspension bushings all around and the Tokico HP's. Mine is for street use only as well.

On a side note, Black Dragon has all of the necessary nuts, bolts and washers available as well. You get a great breakdown of the suspension components and hardware required on their website. I didn't want to have any issues putting everything back together, so I ordered all or the nuts and bolts from them. It made putting everything back together a lot easier.
