suspension
Hey guys,
I ve owned a 2nd gen and just bought a 1st gen. I ve always wanted one. Its a 1979 not sure what model it is. But it has a 5 speed tranny. Anyhow the body is mint no rust what so ever. Anyhow i need to address the suspension problem. They are shot. So i m wondering what you guys feel is the best for street driving and performance. i was think tokikos or agx. But what do u guys think. I need to do everything even bushings. your help is greatly appreciated. And what sites besides rx7.com? joe |
First, go to Victoria British and order yourself a free catalog. Then pick up a Haynes 79-85 Mazda Rx-7 manual. These are both pretty good reference materials to keep on hand.
Suspension? Most people spring for Tokico shocks and struts. Why? They're the best bang for the buck. Bushings? Go to MazdaTrix and search for your bushings there under the 'Suspension' section. You can also get most of those bushings from Victoria British too. Good luck! :) |
done deal thanks for the help.
