Sub Zero Tank Question

I just wanted to know what Sub Zero tank is for and if I would need it in Greeley Colorado.I'm finally getting started on my Turbo II swap into 83 and wanted to know which oil pan to get from mazdatrix.Theres one with the sub zero start assist and one w/o it.I basically want to save as much money on my project and kinda want to know is this is needed or not.

There will be a lot of people tell you that you don't need it and get rid of it, and that most don't work anyway. However, mine works and I'm glad I have it. It contains a mixture of antifreeze and water (90/10 antifreeze/water I think) that is injected into the carburetor when the temperature is below zero, to assist starting.

I'll be the first to say you don't really need it. I'm also not sure what extra wiring would be required for it to work with the TII swap. 2 things to consider. CA models did not have them. iirc, and Mazda issued a TSB for the dealers to remove them.
