Stupid question:

Where can I buy replacement clips for holding in the brake pads? Autozone?

Roundabout 04-19-06 09:39 AM

Checker, Schucks, or Kragen should have them. checkerauto.com (parts america) has them under brake hardware

I mean under Break Pads & Shoes, your looking for the shims right?

$100T2 04-19-06 10:02 AM

I think so... Just those stupid metal clips that hook onto the caliper and help hold the pads in place.

check rockauto for the hardware kit or shim kit. I think it's the shim kit that has the clips in it, but you can check the photos at their site to be sure.

I think BlackDragon.com (formerly Victoria British) has a hardware kit that includes them too.

For less than $40 dollars, you can get the kit from your local Mazda dealer.

One thing I can tell you for certain - if you get a new slider kit from NAPA, the pad springs DO NOT come with it. I just replaced a rear caliper and found that out.
