Stockport vs Bridgeport car value

I'm moving on from rotaries and am going to start getting my 83 ready for sale. The car is currently running but leaking oil pretty bad between the iron and housing. I have a good stock engine and stock nikki, and I have a full bridge with holley 600 or modded nikki. Question is, which engine would sell the car better?

The stock engine with nikki would sell better. I say this because many people my not understand and appreciate what a full bridge is. To them, they want a car that is more drivable in daily applications.

Stock is worth more unless you are selling to a diehard rotary fanatic that knows what a bridge
is and how it will run.

Unless you can prove the bridge was built by a reputable house, its value alone is also
questionable. Theres lots of ways f---up a bridge port build.

Agree; your best value would be to sell the car with the stock motor, and then sell the ported engine separately. From a buyer standpoint, someone out to buy an engine has more likelihood being interested in a ported unit, since they are into the DIY work end of things to begin with.

Thanks guys, I guess stock it is, there might be a bridgeport 12a with a holley for sale in south texas soon, lol.

If you have the means, I would install the Bridgeport first. Shoot a video and dyno the engine and then swap in the Stockport engine. I think this will help the Bridgeport sell quicker. Other than who built it, I think the other top two questions you will get is "can I hear it run" and "how much horsepower does it make"? GLWS
