Stock intake manifold bolts

Anyone know the best place to find the stock bolts (4) and nuts (2) for the intake manifold for an 83 rx7? Much appreciated!

I got mine at Fastenal. I used stainless hex head bolts and stainless nuts.

Should i just try my luck at a place like that? I have no clue as to what the size or thread type are. Thanks

Fastenal isn't cheap and they make you purchase hole bags.

Also try True Value Hardware if you have them in NY. They carry a nice assortment of metric.

I believe the size is size is M8 1.25 but I'm not sure about the length. Did you loose yours? If you have one they can measure it for you.

Also use lock washers and DON'T get them too long. You could snap them. Use the proper amount of torque.

The car has 4 different bolts...unreal. last guy really hosed me haha. None of them fit nice so im really hoping he didnt mess up the threads in the side of the engine. I can get an assortment which is close to the random ones i have and see what works i suppose?

Use a tap and chase the threads before trying those random bolts or even new ones based on these random bolts.

The bolt pitch I believe is the same as the two nuts that attach the intake manifold. Whatever you do, do not force a bolt or tap in.

Go to Harbor fright and purchase a tap and die set then you can find out for sure what size it is. This should correct any issues the prior owner might have created.

Any hardware store will have them. Ace, hardware hank, true value. What ever you have in the area. I believe kansas was right on the size.
