Stage 7 Restoration Update!! *PICS*

Hey guys,

Running a little short on time here so I'll just post the pics without saying much. Many of you have seen the previous posts I've made on the restoration of my 85 GS. Its the car in my avatar. I have the new engine in, fuel system is done, exhaust hooked up, 98% wired up, clutch done, brakes 75% done. Basically all I have to do is hook up the lines to the FMOC, and get a new radiator to replace my leaking one. I think Carl is gonna sell me a radiator, so as soon as I get that expect to see some videos of this beast running. :D I hope to have one of the cleanest 12A's around. I'm trying to squeeze as much power as I possibly can out of just bolt ons and simple tuning mods. No porting or turbo because this is my first real project and that can get difficult and expensive. Wanna keep things simple for now. Anyway, here are the pics. Feel free to ask any questions. Later all!

Jamie

Beejesus, you painted the hood latch!

EDIT: Oh yeah, throw away the K&N and put in a Purolator... Unless you want to be able to list it in your mods section so everybody with much experience knows you don't care about power. ;)

Wow Jamie, that car sure has come a long way.

I love what you've done with it. It's the same kind of thing I'm aiming for with my 84GS - Trimmed down stock + bolt-ons :) I figure I put myself in the shoes of a Mazda Engineer... What would the car look like if they hadn't had to comply with the Mazda Bean Counters cheaping them out, and the government adding emissions... :)

Keep up the good work!

Jon
