Spark plug question

Ok my car keeps killing the plugs every 2 weeks or so
and it hurts the performance BAD! I can tell right away when they go bad.Lack of power/ bad throttle response/worst gas mileage/ bad idle
when i pull them out i notice that the leading ones are cracked arround the electrode(the inside) and also the leading ones are darker....and the trailing are cleaner'ish!
i have locked the dizzy retard the timing and put new wires ......The Kragen/schuckers ones....I coulnt find the NGK ones=( ....should i get the 2nd gen turbo plugs? are they the same as the 2nd gen N/A??? and i dont boost over 7PSI often.......Thanks For the help guys

Maybe the transistor trick circuit will help out a bit. The cracked plugs is ususally due to being too hot (I think). What plugs are you currently running? Maybe try a step colder (go to BR9EQ-14 if you are currently using BR8EQ-14). Do you know what your timing is set at? What ignition setup do you have, again? 2GCDFIS? I also wonder if maybe you are too lean or the timing is too advanced (high combustion temps).

yeah i have the second gen leading and the timing is supposed to be 10 deegres retarded=( i was goinna check it but.i did a search and could'nt find any info=(
plus my timing light reads some weird shit!! i gave up

So you have 2GCDFIS with 2nd gen leading plugs, then? I suppose that you could use 2nd gen trailing plugs instead (they are 2 steps colder). There may be a problem with fouling, though. I would think the plugs that you have now would be fine. The 2nd gen Turbo uses the same ones. I can't really help on the timing. Maybe one of the turbo guys will chime in. It does sound like maybe a timing issue. Good luck.
