Spark plug heat range question

I have an oval track race car.....an 82.....and i was wondering which heat range would be best for me as i stay up in the upper RPM range.

BR9EQ14 or BR8EQ14 or BR7EQ14

either 7, 8, or 9 heat range

Thanks:)

if you are consistantly staying at higher rpm's then you would need to gowith a colder type of plug. however, you need to bear in mind that a colder type of plug will foul eaiser and will sometimes make it hard to start. a BR9EQ-14 from a gsl-se will work. however, i would personally stay with the stock plug, the BR8EQ-14. they really work fine for almost everything. i personally use only the BR8EQ-14's in my 12A's and the 9EQ's in my se. basically, if you want a racing or cold type of plug, you may have a few problems with starting and maybe flooding.

also, remember that hot plugs retain heat from combustion and will basically cook themselves running at higher rpm's.
