So my Girlfriend bought a beautiful GSL-SE (with pics!)

We paid $2100, i felt it was a pretty sweet deal. this thing is in AMAZING shape for its age and this region. Practically rust free, 130k miles, recent repaint (no accident, just done to keep it looking nice), nice brown leather interior, and working everything. we found it in Detroit, it was always garaged in the winters. Only problem is the oil cooler leaks, i knew it did when i bought it, but it will be replaced with a 2nd gen unit this weekend and some nice AN lines.

Heres some pictures from when we took it over to defined autoworks to visit Logan and Peter. The other -SE pictured is Peter's daily driver. Logan also has a silver -SE but it was busy getting a new engine so wasnt in the pictures.

This thread is useless without a better picture of your girlfriend. :)

Much better choice than a damn Sentra. All it needs is some boost.

vipergts_3 09-04-07 09:11 PM

lol , my wife wants one. the 2 projects and the dd make her want one of her own cause she just loves everything about me i guess ...
it is good to have a woman that is interested in your hobbies ! even better when they can work on them too !

Wow gorgeous fb man! Your one lucky s.o.b! You should really consider putting up more pics of both your ladies! :icon_tup:

Wow, great price and condition!

I paid 2750 for mine, finding more and more things that are needing to be replaced on it. However, it's fun and my soon-to-be 16 year old is having fun working on it.

WTF? HAX!

She clearly has a ratchet in hand...

It appears she's taking the header panel off or something. I can't think of anything that'd be leaking oil up that high though. Doesn't make sense.

StricklyOldskool 09-05-07 12:31 PM

Removing the top of the radiator support would give a very clear view of the oil cooler. ;]

correct! it was very oily on the underside, so pinpointing the exact leak was no easy task. she was taking off the radiator panel thingy to see what an above view would show us.

That car is fiiiiine!
