So lost

ah... my car is getting worse and worse, harder and harder to start (dont know if it the weber, tuned in winter, or if its loosing comp.) but ive messed it all up,
she needs body work to fix some dents, the brakes are squieling periodically, the tires when they arent falling apart aret bad but i need new ones, the engine i was building has come to a slow standstill due to lack of funds. and now my parents garage is full of parts from one of my other SA's, my other SA (#3) is setting at my grandparent, and they arent happy about that.
Ide like to go ahead and finish my engine and drop it in there, but if that doesnt work then im screwed( this is my only car) and it still needs work even if the motor is a success. my other option is to buy a cheap ass car, my dad has found a '92 lesabre for $500 i could buy that to drive and work on the 7 periodically, or dare I say sell it for the hole $2 its worth, or I could just drop the $500 i would spend on the lesabre (werever im gunna get it from?) and finish my engine and get new tires and brakes.
I guess i just need thereapy but Im poor so you guys will have to do.

thanks for listening, and any opinions will be greatly appreciated

Try decarbonizing it. It might help. My DD has a low compression motor and it slowly gets harder and harder to start. Decarbonizing (either with MMO, ATF, Powerfoam, Water) brings it back up and makes it run much better.
