Slight problem.

While driving to the pier to ship my car to texas i notice a noise coming from the engine bay but didnt know what it was, it did a taping noice every time there was a dip in the road.
When i park the car to get inspected i open the hood and notice that my oil cooler was hanging from one side and that the tapping noise was the oil cooler hitting the pavement, the oil cooler was slightly bent and leaking so i ziptied it till i get the car to texas and fix it.
Where can i get a oil cooler for a SA 1980, and now that im replacing it is there an upgrade for this.
Thanks.

you can use an fcs oil cooler, i've seen threads talking about it. you can get them pretty cheap. my friend was going to throw one away...

You can check the for sale section here, or buy a brand new one from Mazdatrix. It'll only cost you your arm, your leg (your choice of left or right) and your first born. If you have no children I'm sure they will take an I.O.U.

For a 79-82 http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.as...m=14-700A-8871
For a 84-85 GSL-SE http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.as...m=14-750D-N304

The SE cooler is much cheaper so if your willing to spend that much on a brand new oil cooler than I would suggest getting that one and modifying the mount setup to fit it in.

Check to see which part of the hanger broke and what part of that needs repaired. Then find a tig welder and have the cooler repaired.
