Signal lights come on when brakes applied?!

Hey guys, just another question from the Newbie. I was driving around in my 7 today, and when pulling up to my friends, they noticed my front turn indicators were both flashing at funny intervals.... funny thing is, my hazards were NOT on, and neither were my turn signals... We figured out that it was whenever the brakes are on, the turn signals come on... Somehow I don't see this as being normal, and I don't want them coming on all the time. If anyone has any experience with this problem, let me know, otherwise it's down to the wiring diagrams. :boring:

Sounds to me like a exposed wire touching another. I seen the simliar problem with a friends car. You may want to check all your wiring under the steering wheel. [and] the wiring dirgam might be good for refrence. ;)

I haven't checked, I know the right front works, and the left rear, but I think the right rear and the left front are burnt out.... I'll check today and get back to you ASAP.

Jeff
