yeah the throttle bracket is a trouble. mine was just sitting on the bench when we made the manifold, i think its from a 22R toyota engine. throttle cable is stock.

Love simplicity. Peepers should have been Miss, not Mr.
Wacky, the 1st pic looks like no bracket with the cable just hanging there, does that work? I'm thinking it would if the return spring was strong enough.

I don't have any good pictures of my weber set up right now. I'll grab some tomorrow, I have a small throttle cable bracket.

Oh yeah, I remember. It's short term memory I have trouble with :)
Your car could have been a female member of the Peepers family(hopefully seen in a future skit on SNL).

you guys are to much...lol
Thanks everyone. I'll post what I've done as soon as I get time. It came out good. Well at lest I'm happy with it.
Finding the bell crank for the carb (with out buying one) was the hardest part.

Also I've heard, and it stands to reason, that you should have the throttle pull and stop on the same side of the throttle shaft or it can twist the shaft.
But in all the pictures it's not...hmmm
