should I plug it?

Currently I have no cat but haven't taken the air pump off yet. Should I plug the fresh air hose that went to the cat or leave it open?

I pluged mine on an 85" engine but it heated the plug up and melted an thats made a real mess.

Plug it. When I bought my RB cat rapalcement pipe it came with a blockoff plate, so I would use one.

Come on this is not a hard question. Should I block off the hose even though the air pump still functions.?
