shooting fire/flames

can any one here shoot flames from their exhaust just a thought, if so what have you done to achive this ??

Any car can do this. Some places even make kits to install on old cars that make a nice flame and backfire. :)

Keaponlaffen 12-21-02 04:38 PM

you can do it just with a straight-pipe on a normal rx-7 :D

Would you like a new exhaust system? At highway speeds, leave car in gear and turn off ignition and coast 5-10 seconds (not coast actually - engine brake) this will put plenty of unburned fuel in the pipes. Then turn car back on, S##T in pants, pull over, pick up parts.

how does that kit actually work? is there like a spark plug mounted in the back of the exhaust or what. im not gonna do that lol, but im just curious

From what I've read, there's some sort of "ignitor" almost like that of a grill that will ignite the gas fumes. It's made for older cars, such as those without any emissions equipment that run a little on the rich side. It's mostly for looks.

ive spit 2' flames with just mods on engine no spark plugs in exhaust or any of that shit

have a short vid if someone wants to host it

5-10 seconds of coasting?!!?!? Holy shnikeys!!! I do it for half a second, and get a very respectable fireball.....
