and any other mods that come up frequently

I KNOW THAT ALL THE GURUS GET TIRED OF ANSWERING ALL THE SAME QUESTIONS AND THE NEWBIES ARE TRING TO LEARN BUT ARE ASKING ALL THE SAME QUESTIONS IN TWENTY DIFFERENT WAYS

Maybe more of a FAQ. Just print it all out and stick in your RX-7 Tips and Tricks binder and boom! Bored one sunday? OK, let's see what I have yet to do. (Yeah like that ever happens, something is always broken!)

I tend to agree. The mazspeed site has a Facts section that has the how to mods. I am not aware of anything like that on this site.

I agree - i'd like to know a little more about removing the emissions mess.

All the gurus need to take a breathe and get over it....reading year-old posts in Mazspeed about problems is boring...an inter-active site where you can be told an answer or better yet, told what words to use in the search engine is why this site is still growing and all the others are plateau'd. It's tedious, but you do have an alternative. If you don't want to step up to the plate, stay out of the game and kill the whining...;)

If I knew how to do it I and a good format I would do it myself by searcing the forum , quoting the most descriptive entrys , and adding links to the appropriate threads or sites

if anyone wants to give me a crash course in all of this and i will get started asap .... unless there are any objections...

Sorry for the heavy hand...I looked again at your posts and realized you weren't who I thought you were...there's a "damonb" in the Forum South section who runs an FD, he should know better, I thought....In the screen where you see all the 1stgen threads grouped together, you'll find a little box at the very bottom of the page with the search feature...just use a word or two and then pick through the threads that pop up until you find the one that suits your needs...if you get too specific with your descriptor, the thread will probably draw a blank. In this case, a shotgun is better than a 30-06...;)

I think it would be a great benefit if we had a section that featured how to's. This forum is great for troubleshooting etc, but how many times should we have to explain the ATF procedure?
I would love to have a section where I could go pull up the information on how to tighten up the steering box, or put in a second gen alternator etc, without having to search old threads. Plus, how much BS do you have to search through in each thread to find the info you really need.
A good "how to" should read like a recipe. It should have the ingredients (parts and tools needed) and then a section of how to put it all together, and then finally pictures of the project from start to finish.
So, mar3, how can this possibly be a bad idea?
This forum will still flourish with the guys who can't start their car, or can't figure out why the car is overheating, or the lights dim when they hit the brakes. Then, once everyone helps them troubleshoot their problem, we can direct them to the proper "how to" in the Facts section.
