Where can i get this mirror set up. Just look at those... ok a little longer.... ok now those make you look like you should be chasing (and beating) james bond. Wow, beautiful. Where can i get these?

remove mirrors from doors. Fix holes. Install mirrors on fenders.

wont realy work. there not the same.

the fender mounted side views are "taller" in the neck. if you mount the stock ones all you will see is very little of the side of the car and the rest the will be you and the front window.

Mr_Rx7_Au 12-03-03 09:37 PM

Yeah they are pretty interesting, those crazy japs!

Not sure how well it will be recieved in this day and age tho.... I think you would be best to leave em on the doors

i i tryed that once.

i made a post in the japan section. and i accualy had a guy say he would do it.. but then he just disapered.

it would be expencive. i said i would pay,

Junk yard cost + shiping + gas + the guys time.

i dont know the cost for things at a japan junk yard. but out here a side view is around $10-15 so i figure if there the same... $30 for 2, $40(if hes nice prolly more) for time, $5 on gas, and like $30 for shipping (or more)

so i would guess $150-250 as a guesstimate.

I think pretty much everyone agrees about the savanna mirrors.

I'd do it if I could get the proper mirrors.

THey look cool, they don't function very well. My friend has a 77 Savanah and they look cool but you can't see shit out of em.

RRTEC 12-04-03 01:45 AM

Tell you what is really cool......removing the passeenger side mirror, filling in the hole and only having one mirror..yeah that rules the fender ones really damage the look of the car unless you have an 79-80 model....they can probably pull it off..

MyRxBad 12-04-03 10:06 AM

Don't forget even if you do get the savanna mirrors that you'll have to run some long power mirror cable. :D

anyone see that orange right hand drive 1st gen at sevenstock this year? Me being a dumbass.... I was talking to the owner when I noticed two holes, one sightly larger than the other, on both fender tops. I asked, "what are those holes for?". He told me, then I remembered about the mirrors.

Anyways, I would'nt run them on the car unless they came stock. It's like wearing a fake watch or something, not to mention that they probably don't function very well.
