RX-7 1st gen building for dirt oval racing
anyone knowany guys that race dirt tracks or asphalt ovals I need to run a holley 4412 2 barrell 500cfm for the rules in stock 4 class any help or ideas on the intake to be able to run this carb. 12a or 13b i have both engines thanx

Honestly i have no idea. What do the rules say about engine mods? Are you alloud to do any porting at all? If so then i would use a large bridge port motor. then all you can do is just get that carb on there and start tuning it. better get started soon because the tuning period might take a while.

it all depends on the class. i wanted to race a rotary but they have rule that says no rotory cars. so i went with a 377 and it is a blast if you need some tips then let me know.

LOL no rotarys!! Guess they know they will kick the pistons ass!! thats great
|
yeah i have read rules for local dirt track racing, and rotary engines are not allowed. i have no idea about your area though.

in the four cylinder class you could do some damage but up the super stock class those are some serious power. Some guy like 5 years ago ran a first gen and cleaned out for the whole season next year they passed the no rotary law.
