Sounds like a waste of time.

Not worth the effort.

lol, car + 3 rotor = badass....

car + 2 rotor = nifty!

thunkrd 01-13-10 02:56 PM

lol

lmao! who knew it was so easy!

The money it takes to build a "badass" n/a would be better spent on a TII swap.

DriveFast7 01-13-10 10:04 PM

But Turbo rotaries get rebuilt twice as often as n/a, the money/time debate can favor n/a.

Amen

just do a 13b monster streetport with a edlebrock 650cfm carb and tune! (thanks 84stock with the help man)

i like the simplicity of the NA, lot of plumbing for a turbo...

i dreamed of pulling the HEAVY, HOT stock turbos off my 3 rotor and just running N/A...

...or the Renesis swap with stock SE ECU and cabled throttle...

Be sure to increase rear oil pressure relief pressure, and shim the front regulator. Renesis has low oil pressure problems resulting in increased bearing wear. 71psi at 9000rpm = wear.

i have no idea how that slipped by, i mean they've been running 9000rpm for decades in the race motors, with high oil pressure, and no trouble. FD has the high oil pressure...

seems weird they went back to the 70psi regulator.

higher oil pressure would help with cooling too, as that's part of what controls oil spray to the rotors
