Rotary Performance Brass Radiator

It's been a long time, I think the last time I posted here was in '08. The RX7 took a spot on the back burner for a while, but it's back on the road again. I just finished powdercoating the rims and having the paint reconditioned, and it looks fantastic.

Anyways, after 32 years the radiator seems to have sprung a pretty significant leak. I've traced the leak to the upper left corner, so I'm certain that the radiator is in need of replacement.

Has anyone installed the Rotary Performance (rx7.com) brass upgrade radiator? It's cheaper than a replacement from Black Dragon, and has increased capacity. How is the quality, fitment, etc?

I also purchased an electric fan/mounting kit from Black Dragon, so I will be installing this with the radiator.

I guess I'm just looking for anyone's past experience with this setup before I order. Thanks!!

Here she is, btw :) Sorry about the crooked side molding, I'm working on fixing that.

They talked to me about replacing the radiator, but I decided against it.
I live in Texas with well over 100 degree heat and the two row radiator has suited me just fine.
I will have it rebuilt soon so I can keep it for longer.

Just get it recored with 3- row at your local rad shop so its easier to deal with warranty and such

if you've got green grass then you probably don't need an upgrade.

nothing grows green out here and we barely need to upgrade n/a rotaries.

can you ship your lawn and a tree or 2 to my address? i sorely miss seeing living things, thanks.

Warranty? What's a warranty? :)

I know I don't need an upgrade, but the RP radiator is the cheapest replacement option out there and I want to replace the leaking original one. I was just curious about build quality, fitment, etc

I am going with an aluminum one off of ebay 3 row. Planning on a e-fan swap as well.

I ordered the one from RP. Their site said $175, but after placing the order the sales rep said that the price went up to $225. I'll post how the install goes.
