Rotary Engineering fans, please read.

I've picked up a 2nd strut tower brace, and they are both supposed to be from Rotary Engineering.
There are some differences in the 2, so if anyone has a strut brace from them, especially ones with
the logo on it, with some close-ups of the mounting bracket, and the ends of the tubes, could you please post some pics? I will snap some pics of what I have for opinions.

Also, if anyone has a R.E. catalog they'd sell, let me know. Thanks!

I had one 20 some years ago. 5 pieces. 2 tower plates, the bar, and 2 triangulation bars. There was no logo.

First one I have was painted silver, I did it black. never saw a logo on it. It's got nice welds all over, very clean, fitment was perfect. I don't see any markings/stamps. Other pics I can find online look most like this one, tube ends squared off and welded.

The 2nd one I picked up is slightly different. It's chromed, fitment looks to be the same (I have not taken the first one off to compare, but sitting beside each other it looks identical) The tube ends are pressed and not welded. Strut cap pieces look close, but these are rougher. Wrinkle finish, grind marks showing, one side is stamped with a '2', the other is stamped with a '0'. I'm wondering if this is an early version or a pretty good knock-off someone did using a real one as a guide. The long tube is not in pics, but it also has pressed ends and it's chromed.

Mine was just like the pics above, came black.

Did it have the squared off/welded ends or the pressed ones?

Finished just like the pic. Black. Those were good guys. They made good stuff, Always helpful on the phone. I wish I still had my Nikki hat.

Can you post a pic of where it bolts to on the firewall please?

I just used the bars and picked a spot that looked relatively flat that looked good. Not sure if there is a specified location. Also, since I did not see any effective way to mount it, I picked up that RivNut tool and used some m8 bolts. Feels really solid.

2nd pic is one I found here.

Even in these 2 pics I see differences in the bar ends. Mine are very clean and finished, silver one has some 'flange' to it.

I'm going to shoot Mariah an email and see if they can put me in contact with the man himself.
