Try eBay. Look up a seller name alfa1750. If he doesn't have what you need I doubt anyone does. Send him a message he has tons of parts many which are not listed. He also offer great discounts when you but certain amounts. Good luck.

rwatson5651 09-12-16 11:07 PM

Also try piercemanifolds.com. Go to the exploded view of the carb. It has the parts numbers listed. Click on the number of the part you need and you will see if they have it or not.

They have more parts than Alfa1750, but Alfa1750 has some parts that piercemanifolds does not have.

hey guys
so im going to be selling my '85
My built 4port 13b is going to stay though, im going to put my engine in the gf's 79 and put her stock 12a in my 85. However i want to keep the dual carbs from her engine and put them on mine
soooo i need a 13b manifold. Does anyone have one for sale or would like to trade for the RE dual intake manifold off the 12a ?
THen i'll just pick up a stock nikki for the 12a and sell my weber 48ida set up that i had on my 13b
i've been checking ebay with no luck :/

I believe we have a couple spares of both the 12A & 13B DCD manifolds.
What are you wanting for the 48IDA setup ?

im thinking about $550? it has maybe 600 miles on it... was bought from another member, and they bought it brand new from racing beat i think it was and never even opened the box. so they just sent me the large box (think 3' x 3 x 3, it was Big for a carb and manifold) with everything in it... it was all disassembled and brand new, with the ida manifold, and a k&n filter w/chrome top hat
i have since bought a good amount of jets (air and gas) for it and it came with some extra e tubes as well, so there's a lot of stuff that goes with it. To be honest i'd like to get the duals on my 13b before letting the ida go. However if you were interested i could certainly give you first dibs on it?

To make matters worse im deploying to the sandbox for a quick 4mo tour next tuesday, will be back in january. but i have my mind set on engine swapping, trying to get the duals on my 13b in the gf's '79 LE and selling my 85 with a stock 12a in it

Would you consider letting one of those 13b manifolds go? i'd offer you a 12a in trade but it sounds like you wouldnt have a need aha

Let me check the carb storage section upon returning to the shop.
Feel free to holler if you haven't heard back in a day or so.

I also have all the info for jetting changes from 12A to 13B (stock or street port).
These work well on a stock port motor but street port is a whole nuther animal.
Even with the correct jetting values, there were some tweaks that Rotary Engineering did - such as custom drilling of the emulsion tubes. Very few people actually go to that degree of detail.

Nice looking rims. Are they non 13's? Given the limited choice in 13 inch tires, it is just a matter of time when 13 inch tires will disappear.

Where can I some?

A classic tribute to wire wheels of british sports car when they were worth damn.

I don't see how this is 36dcd related lol but both tire rack and discount tire should have 13" tires...

They WONT be going out of stock being lots of small cars on the road today still use 13" wheels, as well as lots of trailers and even UTV's and large ATV's are using 13" now.

not to sound like a dyck,, but did you google search "buy 13" tires" ? lol gl mate

even amazon has a LOT to choose from,, https://www.amazon.com/s?rh=n%3A3536...n%3A6131677011

I was referring to mandrake 2661 's picture.

This spreadsheet is from 2012
https://www.rx7club.com/attachments/...res-export.pdf

The selection is considerably less now. If trends continue, there will just be race track tires. So I could use 13 inch ATV and trailer tires and rims?

Sh00bs 10-11-16 04:47 PM

ah I should have known what you were referencing...

tires concerned, yes you "could", should you? no probably not. Did you click on the amazon link ? there's still a good amount of options out there for you listed under passenger car tires. the trailer/atv tires remark was just that, a remark lol
click on the link if you haven't yet, decent tires for cheap prices

speedracer_not 10-11-16 07:40 PM

So I better not use ATV/trailer wheels/rims?

Many of those listed on Amazon have "only 2 left" notations. Race track tires take a lot of care and feeding.

Sh00bs 10-12-16 05:01 PM

regardless I think 13" passenger tires will still be available in the next few years and there onward.
hey if I needed to get somewhere or push my car around I wouldn't be opposed to putting atv or trailer wheels on the car to move it around.
The wheels themselves, ive seen some pretty attractive trailer wheels, tires wouldn't be good for over 70 for the most part from trailers.
Atv's,, im JUST saying most atv bolt pattern is 4x110 lol ive never done it but just listing options.
Getting a little off topic now

t_g_farrell 10-13-16 12:43 PM

There is no performance level tires in 13" that are not RDOT or pure race tires anymore and
there are none of size 205/60x13 except rdot and race tires. Any stock sizes out there in
13" are only suitable for mild street use, if that.

Do not use ATV wheels or tires, they are not even close to being designed for the weight
of a car and the G forces a car would put on them.

Back to the weber carbs. Can someone pleace give me the exact length of the two choke cables running to each carb from the Y splitter. Mine didn't come with the carbs nor do I know where to purchase it. Pictures would help too!
Thanks!

rwatson5651 12-03-16 04:08 PM

I can measure later today and let you know.

btw, the choke linkage is made up of bicycle cables and some years ago I was able to find the splitter on a bicycle linkage website, maybe this will help you put together the linkage you need.

Thanks!

mine has only 1 cable going between both choke arms and it runs though the triangle "Y" splitter and has set screws the pinch the cable (on either end where they go through the triangle) to hold it where you want it

then on the point of the triangle Y splitter closer to the driver side there's a hole for a choke cable to go through and another set screw to pinch it in place
so the whole system is adjustable

kind of hard to explain w/o pictures, hopefully I described it well enough.

EDIT: see my crappy drawing from paint below for what my dcd's have for the choke

kirkosaki 12-05-16 09:57 AM

Thanks! I'm mainly looking for the length of the two cables where it splits and are they the same length, etc? Pics of how it attaches to the choke levers of each carb wpuld be nice too.

I'm in BC now so I'll check out some bike shops but I do need the specs to tell them what I need in cable length :P

is there any contact for the user that sent those photos of that manual out to you at all? Reason I ask is that I had a 1984 RX7 (I'll drop a photo) when I was still in the Corps, had to go out for MOS School and my car had been left at my Family's home in Brentwood, CA (Northern California), the car had an aircraft chock behind a wheel and someone had removed it and either rolled the car out the driveway or the car rolled out after the fact, but no one had been contacted about it and the car was impounded, when I came back to collect it I reported the car stolen and the local PD said it had been Impounded for more than a Month. I could not afford to get the car back at the time (I was a poor) so after all this I do not know what happened to the car.

I'm sure you are wondering what this has to do with a RE Carb Manual, but I had the Rotary Engineering Carbs, kit, and manual in the car that I had bought from a Gal on this forum (under another Username I forget now) in New York and the Manual was in the glovebox when the car was impounded. The manual you have pictured there has the same exact pencil marks on the last page that mine had so right when I saw this post while looking for RE carbs for my 1979 my interest piqued. I know it's been at least 10 years for this post here and more for me, but if you had any contact that would be amazing. Always wondered what happened with the car since it was my first RX. The car was a 1984 RX7 with the 12A, RE Carbs, Racing Beat Exhaust, Horrible rattle can paint job, DZUS Fastenered Fiberglass front air dam, and at the time I had Spec Racer Ford sized Road Racing Slicks on it, gutted interior with just the dash and 2 front seats.Figured I'd give it a shot. This is a much older shot of the car from just after the awful paint:

If you can find a good set I would say at least $600.00 or more.

rwatson5651 01-30-22 11:59 AM

The problem you will have is finding one with the 13B manifold, much harder to find than the 12A version.

Rx7bgs366 01-31-22 12:57 PM

He can always get a 12a to 13b intake adapter elite sells them.

One set is currently running on a Rx3 open track car w/ a 13B street port and another on a daily driver 85’ FB w/ a 12A street port.

Over the years we have compiled jetting information on fourteen of these dual carburetor sets, both stock and street ported, 12A and 13B. Several of these sets are also in storage. If anyone would like setup information regarding these units, feel free to contact me.

Complete shot in the dark seeing as this thread is old and you haven't been active since 2019 but you wouldn't happen to have a overhaul of info for stock port 12a 36/36 specs would you? Im entirely new to carbs and cant message you for whatever reason. Jet specs would be nice but so would the specs for everything else that goes with the carb world. All help is appreciated cheers
