I have a Kirk Racing 6pt. Got it through Automod Atlanta.
Any of you saying you don't need a cage haven't been in enough wrecks. Get an old dirt track car, run at the track, and you will change your opinion. The key to a good cage is the rest of the equipment you need. 1) a good racing seat - sits you lower, gives you more head room 2) a good 5 pt harness - keeps you in that seat 3) padding - just in case you do hit the cage I use: 1) Momo Nascar seat 2) Sabelt FIA approved 5pt 3) SFI 45 padding around the front and sides of the cage, old school foam around the rest. There is no danger of my head hitting any part of the cage while I am strapped in. |
6 Point Roll Cage - with Swing-Outs.
Basically, a 4 point on the street, and a 6 point at the track. https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...postid=2311618 |

These can be fully removed for street use. These are Drag Race Legal. I have pictures of them painted, but they are hard to see in the pics. |
