Which one is which, I think that one is the vent. -nick-

They should go in order of size, biggest to smallest...supply, return, vent

That's the way it is on my fb tank. If that an sa tank?

It's an 83, it was cut off of a donor car that was an 83 also. The previous owner ran lines to the inside of the cab into a 2 gallon tank. I am trying to put everything back together. So far so good. Carb should be done saturday and idler arm in on wed. The carb was stripped completely.... to the point of where the secondaries were gone completely.

It was supposed to be a "one of these days" car. However my headgasket on my other car went toast and now this is going to be my daily driver.

I found the line order, I didnt notice the larger line on the fuel tank. Thankyou sir.

SA tank, for comparison:

Attachment 690005

Attachment 690006

Four lines on top, instead of three; the fourth, with the plastic valve, is a tank vapor line.

So I updated the picture. I tested everything and it worked correctly. It's amazing how the simple things seem to be the easiest to mess up. The gas gauge doesn't work at the moment, I am hoping it's just frozen. Will see after the new carb is put on. I'll actually be able to drive it. Oh and I thought you might be interested in this one. It was said that the passenger side tire needed to be balanced.... I lifted the car testing the bearings and this is what I found.

Gutted bushings in the idler. Time for a Moog!

Vibration is still in the wheel. Steering is stiff, only a little play. Going to try and get the tires balanced. Got the rebuilt carb on today. Started up and would not stay running. Fuel filters kept clogging on constantly. (Old tank no drain plug). Going to try a new filter and run out of a 2 gallon to see if I can see a difference. It will idle almost perfect, but any load at all and it tries to kill the engine. Starves of gas. worked fine on test car :/ Will find out soon.
