replying to help for running problems
 

Previously (just recently), i posted a thread about when you are asking for help that you give all the information possible that you can so experienced members can help point you in the right direction. And also about getting a repair manual for
your rex and reading it from cover to cover like a bible. Now for you guys that are responding to posts about someone with a issue with their vehicle. I know that all
of you are trying to help out. However if you are not sure and have not done diagnostics and not examined all of the symptons, then maybe you should not respond until you learn. Sometime it does more harm than good and again i know you guys are not doing it intentionally.

It takes alot of years and hands on experience to diagnose properly. The difference between a mechanic and a technician is that the mechanic can replace
a known bad part or throw parts at the vehicle until it is fixed. The technician will
ask all the pertinant questions, like when does it do it, does it only do it when, etc... Then he will perform specific tests and confirm the problem, then repair it.
Well those of us with experience, have been there, done that and still give very good advice without seeing the vehicle as long as we get the proper info.
Even those of us that have been doing this for many years are still learning new things. The main point is that you need to know the basics of how a vehicle runs, drives and operates. The fun of learning is doing and i recommend to everyone that they learn about their vehicle on a regular basis and the different systems
functions, from the basics to the more advanced. From experience i have learned that you will retain more and be able to figure out more when you have to tackle it yourself. Again this is not meant to degrade anyone but to educate them....

I cant seem to get the crayon to transmit onto the monitor screen, lol. got any suggestions?

check your monitor to make sure the flux capacitor is working properly if not call get ahold of carl or sterling they're carbs should work alright. i had the same problem :p:

Atf Down the carb.. That fixes everything on a rotary..

You mean I didnt need a new intake mani gasket to fix the coolant leak?!? BAH, I have at least 37 quarts of ATF in the garage and had to wait 5 days for a new gasket.

It's true. Atf cures everything. It plugs up vacuum, exhaust, and oil pan leaks, and cleans fouled plugs. It's even rumored to help the apex seals give better compression. It coats and soothes everything from the carburetor and intake manifold all the way through to the exhaust.
The shit's just like Robitussin.
