Removing the venturi from the Nikki carb
Hi folks. I spent several days using the search function but can't seem to find useful info. What's the best way to remove both the primary and secondary venturi from the Nikki carb without damaging them? Thanks.

My method is to find a socket just a hair smaller than the diameter of each bore and tap them out that way - at this point I have sockets designated for the purpose. Other folks use large washers with a bolt attached, etc. Really just whatever you have available. Even a seal driver may work if you can find one the right size.
Trick is to spray the venturis with some canned air, butane, or other cold liquid before removing them. That way they contract a little from the main body and are easier to remove. It's not mandatory, but it helps. Also be sure to only tap on the top side of the venturis. The bottom is thin and comparatively weak. This means tap them out the bottom, install through the top.
