Removing rear storage bins from FB

Anyone have pics or process on how to remove the rear storage steel frame from the back of the car. Prepping car for some tin worm repair. Not sure if I would to reinstall them after body work is complete.

you pull up the carpet, and unscrew the screws, and then it comes out.

and throw them away. storage bins are a great example of wasted weight, and space.

Seats look great, how did you make them? I'm clueless about upholstery.

I didnt.. I purchased the seats from a seller from canada... cost me a tonne in shipping.. 3x what was quoted... such is life...

apparently they used to be in his old gslse that he had sold.. I didnt look to close to thepics and when it arrived I sat them in quick.. they looked good.. well I went to install them (no mounting brackets etc came with it) last week only to discover it wasnt right... physically would not fit... the bum area was toooooo deep on the seat...

well after going online I discovered they were out of an fc... the previous owner of the sellers vehicle mustve had them retrofitted.. fb seat are hard to find...

so we made do... made some mounts and got it all in... I have a build thread if you want to see the brackets...

Don't FC rear seats work with a little effort in moving the attaching bracket?
