you need most of it. really you do, thats why you see a lot of guys with 13B's conveting to a carb. that emissions jazz is used mostly to control the EGI. the slightest removal or breakage of something can cause poor or erratic idling. i know, lol, i had a lot of problems with my first GSL-SE. on my second now, and i got the engine running amazing! why do you want to delete the emissions nesting?

its a pain to hook back up and i want less chance of a vaccum leak. also they have been sitting for about 10 years and i dunno if they still even work

Slammed_GSL 04-17-06 08:45 PM

rbf41182gt 04-17-06 08:48 PM

that is all stock stuff i believe- a/v solenoid only if you have it

I ripped all my nest out, I just have the canister, bowl vent and dizzy vacumm. Am I allright?

theres a really cool program called IrfanView look for it on download.com. Its free and you can change size really easy with it. Not to mention that you can cure some of those red eyes in your camera pictures.

Since you have an SE, try this from the 2nd gen archive. This will give you a better idea of what should and should not be removed. The above diagrams are for carbs and are not applicable in your case.

I know this is an old thread but I have the same oil filler neck and have always wondered about this myself. Any answers??
