Great! I'm looking forward to replacing my old, crusty shift boot. :bigthumb:

I don't suppose you'll be branching out into shift knobs will you? I'd like to get a stock Mazda leather knob with red stitching to match the red stitching boots you sell.

Ditto. My only question was...is this plug and play? Because I remember reading in certain threads that other boots require some work to install unless it's sold w/ the stock plastic peice it's mounted on or something like that?

Thanks

Hello,

our boots are pretty much plug and play, you don't need to modify them whatsoever, they are, shapewise, replicas of the stock items. Please check the install instructions at http://www.redlinegoods.com/FDinstall.shtm to find out more.

Thank you,
Maciek

Hi,

would you mind explaining what seems to be the problem? We get PayPal orders daily, so I think it must have been a single case.

If you go here: http://www.redlinegoods.com/FDproduct.shtm you'll be able to order from us in 3 easy steps.

Thank you!

Hi,

any chance you could email it to me at maciek@redlinegoods.com? I'd be happy to show it off on our website if you'll agree.

Thank you,
Maciek

Hello,

I'm sorry, but that requires specialized machinery we don't have at this point in time. Should anything change in this department, I'll be sure to let everybody know! :)

Thank you,
Maciek

Hey Mazdabation! Where'd you get those coin holders to replace the exhaust overheat light and the other light? I want!

Also where did you get that Efini steering wheel? Does it have an air bag?

The coin holders are straight from japan. They came in their cars only along with the arm rest. The Efini steering wheel is also from Japan, but unfortunatley it has no airbag.

allenhah 10-15-04 12:19 AM

Cool! I bought the arm rest from the guys at rx7.com on eBay. Do those coin holders swap directly with the lights? I still use a PFC so the overheat light does serve a purpose...I wonder if I could possibly swap an LED with the overheat and alarm lights so that they can still be usefull but less conspicuous...possibly even relocate the overheat light (which serves as the check engine light for the PFC) to somewhere near the front for better driving visibility...

Okay my thoughts are wandering...sorry!

I really lke the black leather with red stictching combination!

Allen, is that standard? That the overheat light serves as the check engine light when using a Power FC? Cuz I never heard of that...I do know that you can't check codes w/ the PFC...but that's about it. So I thought there was simply no check engine light anymore...

Also, is the overheat light used at all (on a stock ECU) if you don't have a cat? Cuz I think I read somewhere that it's for when the cat gets too hot...

Wompa164 06-20-12 12:42 PM

Hey Jack,

I've been looking at getting a replacement boot from you for a while. I'm thinking about going with the BRIDE material, when I go through the checkout process, it asks me what % of the logo I want showing. I understand the reasoning behind the price difference but I can't visualize what each will actually look like. There are 4 options:

BRIDE logo
None (+30%)
Standard (+50%)
All letters (+90%)

Do you have an example of what the Standard and the All letters looks like on a shift boot?

Wompa164 06-20-12 07:01 PM

Looks good, I was thinking the same thing. Thanks for the quick response!
