Rebuilding the Wondersteering
 

So I got a used column with the pitman arm attached. I've ordered these bushing:
Control Arm
End Link
Tension Rod
Idler Arm
All Poly from VB
new Ball joints
New tie Rod Boots

Am I missing anything?

oh yeah,
I'm just gonna rip this shlt right out and put the new stuff right in. Sounds Easy. Advise? besides rack and pinion or power steering. I like not really knowing where my wheels are pointing.

oh, should I get an allignment after this? Should I wait until I get my new springs and shocks and do everything at once?

measure length of each tie rod assembly and set new ones same, tie rods control toe

tension rod bushings control caster, be sure to set back to same length as close as possible.

it will be a crazy low speed ride to the alignment shop once you're done. you can realign after springs/shocks in case you rotated the upper spring perch, which controls camber and caster.

and also to add something, the Tie-Rods i guess you said you just purchased the boots, but if you bought the entire tire rod ends, MazdaTrix recommends replacing the double sided bolt the tie rods screw over..

so do you think I should replace the inner and outer tie rods as well?

absolutely. makes it easier to turn steering wheel too. I just did this on my REPU. be sure to put anti-seaze on the tie rod adjuster sleeve so they won't rust into place and be easier to adjust down the line. A lock nut holds them in place.
