Rearend making noise...???

Out of nowhere, actually I was cruising steady at about 60 on the highway, when all the sudden started this loud noise. Kinda like a brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I would like to say coming from the rear.

The rear had 4.44's that I picked up used from someone here on the club. They would make a similar noise only around turns. The person I picked it up from said it was set up tight and the noise around turns was normal for a LSD.

The new noise is definatly loud and not normal. I been daily driving this rearend almost 1 and a half years now and this just started this weekend. I drove it to work today like this and it only happens under light acceleration / load.

Thanks for any headsup.

Sounds like some backlash problems. If it was adjusted too tightly, it could have cause pre-mature wear and is now causing excessive play. Another solution could be as simple as a wheel bearing. I'd start with that before I started tearing apart the rear end for clues.
