Rear Wheel bearing number.

I live in Canada and am looking for a rear wheel bearing and seal. 85 GSL SE with disks brakes.

The Jobber can't locate either through his suppliers. My recourse is to go to Mazda which didn't upgrade to computer for cars older than 1988.

Does anyone know the bearing and seal number?

The bearing is getting lumpy and I need to change it soon. Would rather have one sitting on the floor before I tear into it.

I did search the forms for a bearing number but no luck.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks,

But... the link shows that the bearing is not available!

well if you have cable it will work. I would highly discourage it with dial-up though. for future reference parts fiche's can be found at www.iluvmyrx7.com

Was hoping for a cross reference to and SkF or similar.

Mazda has been in the past really pricey, but if I have no choice then I will call the dealer.

In this area, the dealer has to go to a Micro fish to look up the part number then call Mazda in Toronto to check stock. If the parts guy is in a good mood and not busy he may call back in an hour. If he is busy a couple of days.

Thanks again.

I called the dealer today and used the above parts numbers. They were a big help and they are valid. ( without them he would be stuck) He just punched them in and ordered the parts for me.

It will take a week to get them in. I might have to park the car as the back end is shaking and the bearing is about to let go.

Thanks for the info.
