Rear hatch hinge leaks
 

My 85 rear hatch hinge leaks when it rains, look like it coming through the bolts that bolt through the glass is there a seal in there. I look at a parts online and it does not show a gasket, unless it come with the hinge.

My hinges have rubber contacting the glass. You could also check that the sunroof and hatch drains are not plugged.

Gaskets are NLA - ease yours apart, seal the gasket with silicone or sealant of choice, re-assemble.

Apologies for bumping an old thread but I found that my car is leaking from the same point now and was curious how Kd058 fixed their leak and how it has held up so far. I have access to a laser cutter and can draw up some CAD files and get gaskets cut out, but if it makes more sense to take the hinges off and squirt some RTV on the glass and call it a day I won't do it.

Despite this being an older thread, it looks like @Kdo58 is active in the forum, at least as of Jan this year. Maybe that @ will get his attention.

If you do end up making some of the NLA gaskets, people on here do appreciate it!
