rear end
 

i have an 83 gs and i dont know if the rear end is large bearing or small bearing. Is there a way that you can tell by vin or month it was titled?

You can tell by measuring right behind the brake backing plate. I don't remember the different numbers though. I would most likely bet you have the small barring rear.
