Rear Bumper

Hey guys,
My rear bumper his loose and is drooping down. I know it sits on some sort of metal rail or some thing but I don't know how to fix it. Has this happened to anyone else. How do/did you fix this.
Thanks guys, I would apreciate any help you can give me.

Well, pull it off, and see if the hangers are bent. It should be held on by two long bolts. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to get it off, unless the bolts are rusted badly. In which case you might need a breaker bar... *grin*

greetings blitz,

are you talking about the two bolts that go in to the hatch? if i unscrew those, the bumper pulls right off? how about the plastic molding? how would one take that off?

i'm also trying to take the bumper off and clean up the area. thanks.

underneath the rear bumper there is two bolts...

loosen them up and the bumper is in your hand.....

To straighten them, you may need new shocks or adjust the brackets...... to get to the other side of the brackets
you have to pull up the carpet in the rear and on each side there is a little box...open it up and loosen away and they come out....mine were tokico shocks.....

The plastic has some clips on it, take the screw out, and be genlte with the clip... its kinda a pain to get back on though.

Is it enough of a pain to get a shop to do it?
