Rear Adjustable Perches

so i want to drop the rear end a little further probably about an 1 1/2" and have adjustability for my certain situations. Anyone here use the adj. perches from DayMotorSports.com . Better yet, anyone know what perches mazdatrix runs on its maroon and black autocross car? i know theres 3 different ones but im pretty sure it can only be 1 of two based on the dimensions i saw when i was there.

you can get this trim the big/fixed end to fit your LOWER spring perch and weld it on, it will give you the adjustment you want and be plenty strong for our cars.

depending on whats on your car you may need shorter springs

AFCO Racing Products 20191 : AFCO Adjustable Coil Spring Spacer - Fits 5" or 5-1/2" Springs w/ Stock Stub - 2" Adjustment

a couple pics on my car, re-speed also has springs with adjustable perches

yup, those are the same perches from dms. Just wanted to know if i should buy the ones with or without the 2 1/2" fixed spacer welded on top? I will be using 5"x8" springs!

I do like the re speed perches but they don't sell them seperately and their full kit is too expensive. Plus the warehouse i buying from is located in carson not to far from where i live so its a day shipping if im lazy or a 30min drive.

Oh ok, I got the ones with it and cut about all of it off, if I was to do it again I would get the ones without and cut the stock perch so it sits flat and weld it on.

The only thing left of that part on mine is on the one side so it would sit on the pig tail perch.

ok sweet! Thanks a lot man!! Also one more question^ are you using 8" tall springs or something else?

I would recomend also using a new rubber upper damper (the rubber part on top of the spring)
I used a new front stock rubber isolator from the front of the rx7 then trimed to fit the
5" spring it made a huge diference on the noise inside the car.

I bought the rubber at mazdatrix its not on there website but they do have them like 15 a piece

I dont remember, I know they are the same length as what re-speed sells.

The new rubber pice sounds like a good idea, maby I'll do that myself.

Yeah they're 5x8"!! Cool im gunna order rite now and thats a damn good idea about the insulators. Im gunna grab those when i go pickup my rear trailing arms from mazdatrix. Thanks for helping me out you guys!!!
