ready to update suspension

I didnt mean to double post, however hijacking is not in my blood;). This was a good read: https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/energy-suspension-full-kit-help-860655/ ... I am now in the market to getting my suspension up to par, as im not going to be able to get my ride on the road while its nice out so i will just do the suspension one time with my bodywork.

I found this:
http://mrcmfg.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=153 (respeed.$155.00) Is this the avaerage price for these kits? Also is there a difference in performance between the Red Vs Black bushings? To wait 2-3wks for red ones is a stretch, I want red though .

Is there another place to get the kit other than respeed or energysuspension.com?

I assume you mean the poly bushing kit? I ordered a set from them about a year back. Never got to install them.

The black bushings are graphite impregnated. Considering you aren't going to see any of them you might as well go with black. The red wouldn't stay very red for long anyway. They are certainly worth the price. Considering new bushings can only be bought with replacement suspension components and the stock rubber bushings already on the car are most likely worn, dried out and cracking, they really are the only decent replacement option. They also make a massive difference in handling and is one of the first things I would recommend for suspension modification.

Get the black ones. That is what I have in my car. Billy (re-speed) has the best prices and service, so you should order from him.

Point well taken Sir...the black it is, unless i find the red at a lower price;). I had it done once years ago and it did really make a difference, even though it was the last thing i had done.(bearings, idle control, pipman arm, control arm etc. etc.) I taugh the guy was nickle and diming me but they had to be changed and the car ran like new before they stole it :(.

Thanks again though.

Yeah, the graphite impregnated is the way to go for sure. And Respeed is the place to get them, they'll take great care of you. :)
