RE-SPEED camber kit installed so now my wheels fit! with a twist tho.. pics inside
well after 3 months my work wheels arrived and i was a little nervous when to my dismay the front tires were resting on the fenders!! so, i contacted billy at re-speed and he set me up with some camber plates.. however here is the twist, they still use the stock style spring(im currently happy with my ST springs) so i was able to save some cash (for now)i will be getting coilovers eventually.. so for all you rx owners that want extra camber but dont have the cash to do the whole coilover setup, you dont have to!
thanks billy for a high quality product and great customer support!! some pics now..... http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/4...eels006jv4.jpg http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/4...0c5d50ba11.jpg http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/8...eels007ya8.jpg http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/8...b85a86efaa.jpg http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/3...els2008ef8.jpg http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/3...809bda67ea.jpg http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/8...els2006po0.jpg http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/8...b7fdaf7a0d.jpg http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/9...els2004vs3.jpg http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/9...02adc53318.jpg |

That looks sweet. What size, offset rims and tires? I currently have Eibach springs (prokit) on my cars. I fiunally took ther plunge and bought rims and tires. My tire size is 205/50/16, rim size 17x7 42mm offset. The tire rubs on the front spring! see attached photo.
I am trying to figure out how to correct it. If I can't, then I am sending the rims & tires back. |

rimes look nice...

Looks good Robert. I ran the camber plates without coilovers for most of last year's season. But yeah, with the coilovers you have a lot more clearance for the tires and you can get more camber out of the camber plates than with RB or ST style springs (or stock).

ST- Suspension Techniques.
Are those wheels 4x110 or 4X114.3? |
damnit, almost another double post
|
I think the consensus is that the 50 series profile is too tall. The 45 series looks like it work work but maybe I better get the 40 to be sure. Discounttiredirect listed the 205/50/16's as a replacement size.

Looks really good Robert.....
Please give us the specs on the wheels...Size and Offset??? Also, is that the 4x110 or 4x114.3 pattern?? Thanks |

Those are the COOLEST rims I have ever seen on an FB!!!!!!!!! Do ya mind me asking how much they were?!?! :)

What about the Offsets???
They look to be on the NEGATIVE side. I have some Panasports with a ZERO offset and they stick out a little less than that.. Are you going to run flares or leave it like that? Thanks |

no flares for me, the stock body lines are perfect LOVE the meisters!!! now i must know.. i realize your running roughly 4 1/2 - 5" inches of backspace.. I love the outside clearance to the fender. now question. how close are you running to the inside spring? 1/2 inch? or more. trying to find out if i can fit a 9" rim with some stretch tires and some camber (not to much camber though...only like 2 degrees.) |
