Rb streetport exhaust and 13b 6 port install

Ok im beginning the install of my rebuilt and streetported 13b 6port for my se. Im just wondering if theres anything that I should do while the engines out, like for example put take everything off the old one and slap it on the new one before i drop it in? I will also be adding a full streetported exhaust from RB.the Se has a/c id like to keep that, but id like to get rid of the air pump, RB says the streetported exhaust has the tube for the 6 port acutators so i will leave that. i see RB sells the block off, so do i just have to take off the pump and put the plate on and call it a day? Also i cant find a write up for rats nest for the 13b. Im staying with fuel injection stock ecm all that. I will be adding Bungs for 02 seosors, and running a safc, or something along those lines. Is there anything off the bat that you guys see will cause me problems? i just like to get everything right before i go at it. thanks!!!!

For the rats nest removal Kevin Landers site rotary resurrection has a good wiriteup on that. As for blockoff plates he sells those as well. Again rotaryresurrection.com. Putting all the stuff you can before putting the engine worked well for me when I did the install on GSL-SE. Good luck!

Rather than a safc which you probably will not find, get a haltech F5 old school additional injector controller. Combine this with a s4 lower intake and modify the fuel rail to fit. Now this will make you turbo ready for the future with a SE. The F5 will control the additional injectors based on rpm and boost, for timing just go with a locked distributor like the blow through 12a guys. Watch for a F5, they go real cheap.

As for now, the gslse is already pretty rich running, so adding any more fuel to a na setup is pointless.

so what does this have to do with my N/a streetported Se? LOL im Not ever going turbo on the car.

Yep im Ordering the Rb exhaust Come Monday i cant wait! This is what ive gathered, from the links, Im going to Get a block off plate for the air control valve, block off for the egr, Throttle body mod. Emissions removal. Im going to stay with the stock intake manifold and what not,I just want something to cruise around the streets and cause some hell every now and then. Ne thing else im missing that might be helpful?

You mentioned a safc, I don't think you will find one. Just throwing an option out there.

safc/wideband air/fuel gauge whatever you want to call it . and how will i not be able to find, one.

safc and wideband are different things all together. A wideband is greatt even if you cannot tune for it as you can see what is happening. A safc goes between your computer and efi and gives you control over your fuel, this you will not find.
