Just installed the RB power pulse muffler. Can't believe how quiet my car is now. Bought the road race header/dual pre-silensers a year ago and was running a stock 81-82 muffler. They even claim to gain 5 HP from it.

 

Hey gonzz, do you have any sound files of before and after? I'm thinking of getting the race header to go with that dual carb setup but "they" are cracking down on loud exhaust around here.

 

Yeah isnt it nice? I'm ditching my N1 style turbo exhaust in lieu of the RB muffler (this also eliminates all the middle mufflers, cause the RB unit is so quiet).

Should sound reallly really good.

So you have the full dual street port system? does it feel more powerful to you?

 

RB makes a good street quite muffler, but very restrictive system. 5hp claims, must be getting 10+hp for a UltraFlo 3" muffler.

So you have to balance streetable vs. noise level. RB will last for many many years if you keep you engine running correctly.

yea, i thought about the powerpulse muffler, but i am not convinced enough to use it on my turbo setup. i just feel that because it's that damn quiet it has to be restrictive as hell. lol

 

Yah I got the full dual streetport system.. It's awsome...
