rb header v. full exhaust
I just got the header, already had a resonator, and I'm wondering how important the of the system is-what do you think
Thanks |
Did I miss a word? What part of the system?
|
I guess meant compared to "tip-to-tail" as refenced in previous posts.

I think the word "rest" is supposed to go between the and of.
You don't have to get the RB muffler if you don't want to spend that much, you can get a different muffler (i.e. magnaflow or other) and go to an exhaust shop and they will make a pipe from the resonator to the muffler. I ran with an RB header and the stock muffler for a while, it was kind of buzzy sounding, didn't like it. As far as power goes, the stock muffler is pretty restrictive, I would recommend getting something aftermarket. -Marques |
I have the whole racing beat system and deffinatly recommend it, makes awesome power, and the sound is streetable and really unique sounding... Sure its expensive but its one of the best modifications you can do on your car. And who ever said modifying a car was cheap?

Anything but a glasspack style, won't last, gets louder, restrictive. I used a flowmaster on an IT car and it wasn't to bad sound wise and power was good. There are probably others now that will be as good.

The RB primaflo was only $232 at mazdatrix (+shipping). best $$ you'll spend on your exhaust. Beautifully made, bolt-on, sounds sweet-
