RB Exhaust and Weber questions
Hello everyone, I have 2 questions that no one has been able to
answer so far. I have seen 2 cars with the RB exhaust set up and which had this really nice zzzzz sound when the engine was revved. I have the RB header and muffler. Does anyone know what else I'd have to do/buy to get that tone? I'm planning on buying the pre-silencer in a few. Also, I saw a picture of a Weber carb with the cage taken off from the intake trumpets. In its place, the guy had placed some rubber rings on the tips of the trumpets with covers and little holes in it. Looked very nice and clean. Where could I get this done? Tks in advance fellas, I'm down in the Middle East looking for the bad guys and working on my tan, but looking forward to going back and resume work on my '85 SE. Keep up the good work and God Bless. |

I didnt have a good experience with the cap. my car ran like shit due to insufficient air flow. it improved without the foam screen. The RB Exhaust...
Are you talking about the "Long Primary System"?? It comes in 3 parts. The "Road Race Headder" - no collector. Center Section with the 2 Pre-Silencers The Muffler. They make a single pipe system too, but I'm not familiar with it. And...... Thanks for looking for the bad guys over there!!!!!!!!!!! I - for one - Very much appreciate your efforts and sacrafice... If I was 30 years younger - I'd be there too. Hopefully - the "things" I design for the DoD (28,500 miles up) is helping you guys. Good luck on the exhaust Steve C |
Thanks Steve and wackyracer for your input.
We're down here, wishing for a better tomorrow. Hoping our children won't have to endure the same. |
