race car dash ideas?
so ive got this pro7 car in my driveway, and its got an 84-85 dash in it. which is ugly.
should i find a 79-83 dash? or go custom? its a race car, so its pretty stripped out ideas and pics welcome. |
A sheet of aluminum/steel.
Track/race cars need nothing super fancy. You can also drill holes wherever for the gauges. Plus it would be easier than swapping the complete dash over, and save weight. EDIT: or are you thinking of the gauge cluster? |

my setup before gauges...it will be power coated to match my interior once it gets sprayed

All the 1st gen dashs can be removed and still retain the steering wheel brackets. It isn't until the 2nd gens that they are intergrated.
