Quickie - aux only on one side?

Hello y'all. I tried to search as much as I could on the app pertaining to "aux on one side" but I got a lot of unrelated topics.

I bought a Pioneer DEH-1300MP and wired it up - works great on the tuner. However, aux only comes out one side and I have a totally brand new aux cord and my Google Pixel is in great condition, offering no issues with the headphone port. Works on radio great! Just not on aux. Any ideas? Wired it up appropriately. Any help would be appreciated - perhaps its something simple I'm overlooking. Thanks. Not a lot of time at work to fully write everything out, I'm sorry if it seems rushed!

Have you used this aux cable before? Is it possible it's a mono cable? Do you have another one to try? I would rule out the cable and the Google Pixel. In that order.
Sometimes new cables are garbage. Could also try adjusting the balance to the other side and then back to center when you plug into the aux port. Just to 'reset' it.
If you have the pinout for the head unit, I guess you could make sure the tuner and the aux port output to the same pins.

That's all i can think of. Good luck.

Could be possible that it's mono. Will purchase stereo, and look at the wiring again... after all, it was a pretty damn janky wiring job I did...

you can tell by looking at it. mono cable has one black stripe on the metal tip, stereo has two. you can google images to see the difference
