quick question on rims..

i have a chance to pick up a set of ROH alloys of CL for cheap, however i do not know the bolt pattern (according to him they are 4 lug and were on his 85 mustang... )

now i looked up that year on google and it says they are 4 x108... my question is, will they still fit my 4x110, will the 2mm make that big of a difference?

edit: http://images.craigslist.org/3n93o43...ab8acb1003.jpg

knowing omaha there probably stollen but for a set of 4 with tires in good condition minus usual curb rash for a $100 its not a bad deal...

yes

FbDrift 12-14-09 11:12 PM

yes to the 2mm or yes to them fitting?

Jeezus 12-15-09 12:29 AM

Yes, but you may need swivel bolts or something of the like. I would not recommend them. Even for $100 I wouldn't chance my life on style.

...

Especially if they came off a rustang.

No they will not fit or be safe. Swivel bolts are also sketchy as all hell.

alright thanks guys... i would want to risk my life over rims either, one of these days im going to convert to 4x114.3.

Buy an adapter if you really want them.

FbDrift 12-15-09 10:54 PM

i have not seen adaptors for our cars... if they had them for 4x114.3 i would be all over that.

i'll be a nice guy and direct you to a set for sale now just pm me

nick1 12-15-09 11:17 PM

and i had 4x108 rims on my fb years ago....they worked, but there was always a wobble. they were not hub centric (the ones i were using off a fox body mustang)

but they did work, and never fell off.

i've heard of the "loose head bolts".....some guy i think his name is "mortenf" on these forums has em on his fb....or had

pmd u.

i did however do a little research and found a couple companies. however, there 1inch thick! thats a little massive in my opinion however is there anyone here who uses them who has pictures of there car?

nick1 12-15-09 11:47 PM

yeah you pretty much will need to use front wheel drive wheels with the huge positive offset...eg honda's usual +40 or whatever
