quick question

not that id want it but im just curious. ive never seen an rx-7 in auto. does these things come auto?

Rex79 12-26-02 06:13 PM

yup.

gamble302 12-26-02 06:16 PM

eyah, and the 84-85 autos had overdrive

82transam 12-26-02 08:39 PM

yea, there are a few members on here that have them.

AdrenalifeRX7 12-26-02 10:42 PM

not that you'd want to have an auto...but you could always do a swap. if it was me i'd stay FAR FAR away from ANYTHING automatic. the only advantage automatic has is the ease of driving and it makes it easier for you to fall asleep at the wheel.....wait that's not an advantage.lol.

82transam 12-26-02 10:45 PM

an automatic in a sports car is by far the gayest idea EVER

"""just curious. ive never seen an rx-7 in auto."""

I don't know the exact numbers but it seems like only about 5 or 6 out of a hundred were sold.

"""yea, there are a few members on here that have them.""

There is even 1 idiot who wants to autocross one!!;)

I had a friend who autocrossed an RX4 wagon with an automatic. It was pretty cool to watch.

racermike 12-27-02 11:53 AM

My first autocross car WAS a RX-4 Wagon in 1977! It was a stick though, and I cleaned up HS in ABQ, N.M.

Wankelguy 12-27-02 06:44 PM

Cool! I think my friend ran HS as well, but not quite sure. '77? You must be an old geezer like me! -WG
