A question for the carb gods

Well, I was just finishing up rebuilding my Weber 45 DCOE, and I decided to go around and make sure all the bolts were tight. Well, I get over to the bolt thats on the side of the carb that holds the aux venturi in place(I think thats what it was), and I here a loud pop! I had overtightened the bolt, and put a nice little crack in the side of the carb(about half an inch long). Any ideas on how to fix this? This is the carb that I am using on my turbo project, so it has to be a long lasting fix. Thanks for the help

jbweld dissolves in the presence of gasoline.

Devcon aluminum putty does not. I used that to repair a idle mixture screw that was screwed in too much. Still holding!
